I booked multiple days with Scott and his crew after looking around and doing some research online – let me tell you after 30+ years of fishing and experience fishing all over, these guys are the real deal. Finding someone who gets the true details of being a professional guide is difficult – these guys live up to it!

The boats and equipment are top notch, rigs are clean, Scott and company are professional, friendly and great with kids as well as experienced anglers like myself.

There’s nobody else I would go with in the Golden Isles – so book in advance! Fishing guides shouldnt be like Disney Land – you need to call ahead and set the expectations beforehand and Scott and crew get it.

We fished for a couple of hours with an 11 7 and 4 year old and all of them were constantly hooked up and having fun – the hook didn’t stay unbaited or out of action for long!

Thanks to Scott and crew we will be back again and again.

Captain Scott is the best! We had a great time fishing with him and we caught tons of fish.

Had a great time! Wil was our guide and we had a great experience. Caught 4 sharks!! My teenage son asked all kinds of questions and Will was very kind and knowledgeable about the area! If we go back we will be using him again to go out in ocean. Side note, I lost a piece of jewelry and we thought it may have been on boat , Wil went back hours after our trip and looked over the boat. He found it!

Great trip on 3/14 with Captain Scott. Myself and 12 year old son (2nd only bay trip) had a great time with Scott and released over 50 fish, patient but educational to my 12 year old. Great trip!

Dont waste your time or money with any other fishing charter on St. Simmons/Jekyll Island. Captain Scott and Captain Rob of Southeastern Angling are the real deal. They are highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable in both conventional tackle and fly fishing techniques. As long as the fish are willing to cooperate, they will put you on them. Their “outside the box” techniques are sure to make you a better angler than you were the morning you stepped on the boat. Speaking of boats, both their Hell’s Bay skiffs and Islamorada Boatworks bay boats are very clean, well maintained and outfitted with cutting edge, top-of-the-line instruments and technology. They are always updating their gear in order to provide you with the top notch experience and professional service you are paying for. I have been fishing with them for the last 8 years if that helps convince you that these guys are legit. Be sure to call ahead of time because they are in high demand. Tight lines!

Southeastern Angling is a must for your To-Do list when in St. Simon! Such a fun experience getting out on the water and having these guys help out with some fishing tips. We had a blast. Thank you!!

I’ll start off by saying Captain Scott exceeded every single expectation I had going into this trip. And I’ll admit I had set the bar pretty high. Every single part of the trip was top quality. From the boat and tackle to Captain Scott himself, I felt like I was receiving the very best of everything. We were picked up on time and had a short ride out to catch bait. Within 5 minutes we had the livewells full and were back under way. After rigging up and waiting for 30 minutes or so he decided to pull anchor and move to a different spot. Once we were there it was game on. My brother-in-law and I took turns hooking these beasts all day. I lost count but I know we both at least had 4 quality Tarpon a piece. A couple of which took a good 15 or 20 minutes to haul in. Captain Scott was very personable and extremely knowledgable of his craft. I also would like to commend him on his stewardship of the Tarpon themselves. Taking care to not stress the fish and treating them as the wonders they are. Also, small things like not pitching old hooks or cut line in the water. You can tell he not only loves what he does but is a strong conservationist as well. If you are looking for a guide around the area look no further than Captain Scott and Southeastern Angling. I guarantee you wont be dissapointed.

Captain Scott took my wife and I out on Saturday. Had a great time catching fish. I liked how he made sure my wife was comfortable and catching fish. Awesome boat and gear too!

Capt Scott was awesome on our trip with my cousin and me. It was his first live bait Tarpon trip of the season and we snagged an 85lb fighter who showed his acrobatic skills. We hooked another beauty but he spat the hook. In addition we had plenty of fun with the sharks as well as a nice spanish, which we landed. I hope Scott enjoyed him on the grill. I would highly recommend Capt Scott to everyone as he goes out of his way to ensure a great day of fishing!

Scott is an outstanding guide. Took my grandson on a trip today and it was great as usual. We use Scott and Rob every year!

Had a great time on the water today catching multiple species and leaving with tons of fillets. He’s a pleasure to fish with and never fails to impress. My son Jake and I fished with Capt Rob on 6-6-18. The weather was perfect, ocean was flat and the fishing was great. We caught a mix of Red’s, Spanish, Trout and the ever so fun Jack’s.

Probably our best day ever of fishing.
