Well its been windy but fishing has been great here in St Simons Island Georgia. We are starting to see lots of triple tail on the beaches and have even had shots at a few in the grass at high tide. We are still catching BIG fish on the flats and the bulls are on the beaches and willing to eat a fly on a calm day when we can work the bars ocean side. The flood tides the past week were good and there are a lot of fat happy fish around. I am starting to see the big shrimp on the flats which means early morning and late afternoon lows will be awsome and top water poppers and gurglers will produce some really fast action. We are also seeing pleanty of trout around and will continue to see more and more as the white shrimp move in. Cumberland beach will start to hold trout, blues, jacks, and ladyfish and the tarpon are right around the corner.
Thanks for making spring such a fun and busy time guys and gals.
