Fishing in Georgia may has been great with lots of big trout and reds. We have 20+ redfish days and when we are able to find the trout they are in the 1 to 5 pound range. We have been using several patterns and a larger fly seems to work best. Colors have not seemed to make a difference. Most of the trout have been deep and we have been throughing DOA and Gulps for them. The flood tides brought lots of fish as well and will continue to produce great fishing until fall. early morning top water has been great as well. Triple tail are pleantyful on the beaches and I have seen 20+++ pound fish caught although I have only managed to land a 17 pounder that was taken on fly by gary stevenson 2 weeks ago. The big sharks have show up and are ready to eat any fly in their path. If the conditions are right shots at tarpon are also just a few weeks out. Tight lines.
