The Tarpon have shown up and large numbers are being caught in Jekyll Island. I have been so busy inshore fishing for redfish that I hav net been but a few times. We had a great afternoon last week when I took Scott and his buddy out for an afternoon of shark fishing and ended up jumping 2 fish 150++ pounds. We went 2 for 5 on Sunday landing one fish that was in the 130 pound range and on Wednesday we jumped a big fish on fly using a large toad fly in green and yellow. The bait and fish seem to be everywhere and I will make it a point to go after them with fly next week with friend Pat Dunn. I will post an update as soon as I can.
The inshore fishing has been HOT trout and redfish are still all over. The redfish are big and I heard from a fellow captain that the bulls were 200 feet off Jekyll beach Monday and he caught 4 or 5. Here are some picture enjoy.
