Over the past year I have be honored to take several groups of military men and women out fishing in Georgia. I have gotten calls on 2 different occasions from Iraq telling me to keep the fishing reports coming. It wasn’t long after I got another call from Andrew Mcdonald who was going to make it home around thanksgiving and he wanted to go fishing with his family. On Oct. 20 I met Andrew and his family at the dock to find out that Andrew was home after his 3rd tour in Iraq. Soon after that I got a call from a young man who was in the Army named Lawrence and he set up a fishing trip for he and 4 of his friends. He and 3 of his friends were about the leave for their 3rd tour and I sit here 2 days before Christmas I find myself thinking how fortunate I and other Americans are to be able to kiss our loved ones, walk down our streets, and go fishing. Lawrence if you and the boys are following my reports like you said you would then I would like to say thank for everything you are doing to keep Americans FREE. I know that if it were not for all the, fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, friends, and loved ones over in Iraq and Afghanistan that I would not be able to do these things. Please be safe.
Thank You & Merry Christmas
