Big Trout and Flood Tide Redfish! Here in Coastal Georgia’s Sea Island and St. Simons

Scott Owens Georgia Fishing Reports

Well first I would like to appologize for the blacked out back grounds on my photos. It really makes them look bad but I STILL AM FINDING CERTAIN PEOPLE who take advantage of my reports in the wrong way. As the title says we have been catching big Georgia Gator trout and the flounder bite is still on fire! The flood tide last night was awesome and the fish really were tailing hard. Merritt caught 3 redfish from 6 to 9 pounds and lost several more. The best thing was they were his first redfish on fly. He is an accomplished angler but has never tried for redfish on fly and it was great to share this experience with him. I look forward to the full day we have this week together. Anyway the trout were all released alive since they were all over 18 and we are trying to revive our populations after 2 brutal winters. Hope you enjoy the photos and lets go fishing.
