Fishing St Simons Island – Seeing Red!

Fishing St Simons Island has been great! Great weather this past week to start off November.  Inshore bite remains strong with speckled trout, redfish, and black drum.  We managed some nice redfish on fly in subpar conditions as well.  The Bull Red action has been keeping everyone busy all week, and making for some happy Charter clients.  Myself, Captain Scott, and Captain Bobby have all had some excellent days chasing these beautiful fish all week.  Just remember, use heavy tackle to get these fish to the boat as quick as possible, big circle hooks, minimize the handling of the fish, and if you hold one up for a picture be sure to support the belly.  These fish are here to spawn and represent the future of our redfishery. Treat them nicely! –Capt. Rob
