Winter has its flaws. Cold, wind, fronts, and well short days! On a more positive note we have blue skies you will never see in summer, clear water, and huge schools of hungry redfish. I fished with friend and Hardy fly rod representative Ben Austin and Rob yesterday and we were overwhelmed at the number of fish we saw. Belly crawling with their eyes out of the water, laid up, and tailing all the fish were quality fish from 25 to around 28 inches. The water was gin clear and we smoked them! LANDING 23 fish on fly some on top with gurglers. This all went down in about 4 to 5 hours! We were poling around this area and found 1 school of maybe 60 fish all laid up feeding into the current. You could count the fish in the water it was so clear! Its that time of year to come on out and do some sight fishing. Give us a call for our winter time specials!! Tight Lines Capt. Scott
