Fishing Report September St. Simons Island Ga.

Scott Owens Georgia Fishing Reports

Fishing the beaches and inlets around St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island, and Cumberland island for huge bull red drum also known as bull reds has been awesome in the past few weeks. We have been seeing record catches of these fish as they move in from their offshore home to spawn on the shoals, beaches, and inlets all up and down the east Coast.  These powerful fish start to move into Coastal Georgia’s waters around late August and fishing really picks up in mid September as waters start to cool off and our first cool fronts of the year arrive. Give us a call and lets go catch some fish!!
