St Simons, Jekyll, and Cumberland Island Georgia Fly Fishing Report May 2013

Scott OwensGeorgia Fishing Reports

We are finally out of the Spring time crazy wet and windy weather and sight casting redfish on flood tides and triple tail on calm sunny days is in full swing. We have been seeing big numbers of tailing redfish on the floods and have had 30+ shots at them in a single trip. Triple tail are in big numbers and one of my favorite targets this time of year here in St. Simons, Jekyll, and Sea Island. Call today to book your charter! Tight lines

Peter With his first redfish on fly. Peter had fished with another local guide several times and had no luck and was told he needed to cast 70 feet to catch a redfish!! Well Peter congrats man you caught one at 20 feet and I was honored to share the experience with you and look forward to many more.
