St Simons, Jekyll, and Sea Island Fishing Reports for May 29 2013

Scott OwensGeorgia Fishing Reports

Well this east wind is making it a little tough but we are still catching great fish! Not in numbers as much as quality of fish. Yesterday morning we had a 24.5 inch trout, 5lb flounder, and several “over slot” redfish and after trying to cancel my afternnon trip due to the 20mph winds my clients opted to go and we caught some awesome red fish and trout. Today was the same. Dirty water but huge fish. We landed huge 35, 33.5, 33, and 31 inch redfish on light tackle and caught trout and lady fish in the mix! As my clients said we understand the weather and its fishing! These were the biggest redfish any of them had ever caught!!

Hope you enjoy the photos from St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island and Sea Island fishing trips
