Cool weather the past couple of days here in Coastal Georgia have kept the crowds off of the water, but Saint Simons Island fishing has been hot on the right tides. I fished 2 of the past 3 days, and definitely had to layer up for the morning boatride, but after a stop or 2 the bite kept me busy each day. Redfish are biting well with fish in the 17-26 inch range, and some pockets of small trout around, but we were able to find plenty of nice fish in the 15-18 inch range each day with a couple sheepies in the mix. This cooler weather should fire off the shallow water sight fishing over the next couple of months, so give us a call and lets get some. You can’t catch them on the couch!
